Sig Sauer P238 Two Tone Available
We now have the Sig Sauer P238 Two Tone .380 in stock and available for sale. The P238 is a great looking and shooting pistol. It stands out above competitors’ .380 concealed carry models because it has a hammer and safety. It is single action only. The gun feels much better than the Ruger LCP or similar Kel Tec models. The contrast dot sites are also much more functional than the sights on the Ruger LCP or Kel Tec.
Because the LCP and Kel Tec are double action only, their long trigger pull can lead to decreased accuracy for inexperienced shooters. The P238’s single action trigger has a very short trigger pull and the trigger is very crisp.
Since Sig Sauer introduced the P238 at the beginning of 2009, quite a few variations have been added to the line. These include the Equinox, TL (238 with laser and aluminum grips), Blackwood Grip model, Rosewood Grip model, HD, HDW, Liberty, Copperhead, and Rainbow Titanium models. The HDW is a limited production run and there have been a few other limited edition production runs.
The first two P238 models that were introduced are no longer available – these were the Two Tone and Black models with the standard 3 dot contrast sights. Virtually all P238 models produced and sold now include the SIGLite night sights.
In November of 2009, Sig announced a recall that affected the first 1500 to 2500 238 models that were produced. This recall does not affect any recently produced models. See more information on the P238 recall.
