P229 MIL
We are expecting a very small shipment of new P229 pistols – the model is E29R-40-MIL-TG (the pistol is chambered in .40 S&W). We don’t yet have photos but the pistol is a P229 and it would appear it is a contract overrun. Strangely the TG in the part number stands for tan grips but the pistol will ship with E2 grips.
This is the first German frame with a mil-spec 1913 rail. The pistol has night sights, a standard trigger, E2 grips, M1913 rail, beavertail, full height rear serrations, and a DLC coated frame and barrel.
We will post photos and additional information as it becomes available. There will be an estimated 240 units available throughout the United States in total.
Update 10-17-12 – we’ve got photos available below

Beautiful firearm! I purchased one of these from my local gun shop because of the features, quality and safety. This reminded me of a Kimber or a small .45 cal pistol. Presently, I have about 20 rounds through this firearm and it shoots great. However, since this pistol is “MIL Spec” with the 1913 rail there are no hard plasic / kydex holsters on the market; period. I have purchased many holsters online only to return them. Finally I purchased a number “15″ Blackhawk nylon paddle holster so I can at least CCW.
